Born in New York City, Robert H. Cohen, M.D. received his BA in Neurophysiology from University California at San Diego in 1981 and his MD from the University of Health Sciences at The Chicago Medical School in 1985. After graduating, Dr. Cohen continued his training at the White Memorial Medical Center and the Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center and completed plastic and reconstructive surgery research fellowships at the University of California as well as a clinical Fellowship with Dr. Bernard Koire, the “Grandfather” of modern cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Cohen holds a board certification with the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians and has held society memberships with the American Medical Association, the American Society of Aesthetic Mesotherapy, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, World Society of Interdisciplinary Anti-Aging Medicine and more. Dr. Cohen is on the faculty at UCLA, David Geffen School of Medicine, and an international trainer for the Cellular Medicine Association. Dr. Cohen also founded the Being Alive Facial Reconstruction Program in an effort to provide free facial reconstruction procedures to underserved individuals living with HIV and AIDS. He was honored with the Paul Starke Warrior Award locally and Statewide for his service to the HIV community. Dr. Cohen is very talented at facial sculpting and conservative in his approach, ensuring that his patients get natural-looking results. He is a doctor first, so he goes through a complete medical history and a focused physical exam with each patient to ensure the best outcomes.
